The Happy Hedgehog Band is one of my books that Lily inherited.
My grandmother bought me this book when it was first published in 1991 and paid a whole R10 for it . I’m happy to still have it in good condition and to be able to share it with Lily now . An oldie but a goldie.
The story is very simple but what makes it fun to read is all the tongue-twisters and rhyming.
Jill Barton did the illustrations and its your classic water colour paintings. Its very well done and appealing to look at.
